Obituary of Brian Pilon
Brian Pilon, a resident of Wembley, Alberta passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, March6, 2019 in the Beaverlodge Hospital at the age of 73 years.
Brian was born on September 28, 1945 in Trois Riviere, Quebec to Ambrose and Jacqueline Pilon.
His working career spanned 33 years in the military and Canadian Coast Guard, while also volunteering with search and rescue and the RCMP Auxiliary. After moving to the South Peace in 1998 he worked for 8 years at Expert Mobile Communications Ltd. He was happiest riding – either on horseback while ranching in the Chilcotin or on the tractor helping with the fall harvest.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, his sister Brenda and his dog Jake.
Brian is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife Loraine, his son Corey, his daughter Mary, as well as his brother Bruce, along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Beaverlodge (310-10th Street). Rev. Fariborz Khandani officiated. Interment will be held at a later date.
