A year later they relocated to Beaverlodge. Lyn worked at the United Church as their secretary for many years as well as at Movie Town.

Lyn was an avid Oilers fan. She also loved when chuckwagon season stared and she could camp and visit with her chuckwagon family. Lyn also enjoyed visiting with her family and neighbors. Lyn volunteered every year for the Beaverlodge Christmas Festival and Gala.

Lyn will be sadly missed by her husband, Ron, son; Chad (Mike), sisters; Dawn (David) and Margaret, in-laws; Martin, Melvin (Rose), and Elaine (Larry), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
