Obituary of Olga Louise Ferris

Louise Ferris, a longtime resident of Hythe, Alberta passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 with family by her side in Beaverlodge, Alberta at the age of 86 years. Louise was predeceased by her parents Frank and Annie Osguthorpe, brothers: Fraser; Joe; Willard; Hugh and Art, sisters: Mary; Florence and May, grandsons: Chad Wells and Tyler Tofteland, and granddaughter Karman Willis. Louise is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin Ferris, daughters: Lynn (Jack) Wells; Patsy (Morris) Tofteland; Barbara (Ged) Willis; Gailene (Dan) Braun; sons: Brent (Debbie) Ferris; Randy (Denise) Ferris, 22 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, sister Agnes and Inez, sisters-in-law Iyleen and Mary, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Hythe Royal Canadian Legion Branch 93. Pastor Ella Loberg officiated. A private family interment followed in the Hythe Cemetery.
